Best taken off the attack for bowling beamers

Kandy, Sri Lanka, July 25. (AP): New Zealand umpire Tony Hill stopped West Indies fast bowler Tino Best from bowling Sunday in Sri Lanka's second innings on the fourth day of the final cricket test for bowling two beamers.

Best, bowling his second over of the day, sent a delivery over waist height to left-handed batsman Rangana Herath and was prevented from bowling further in the innings. Tony had already warned Best on Sunday for sending a full ball over waist height at Sangakkara.

West Indies quick bowler Collin Stuart was also taken off in a similar fashion on their last tour of Sri Lanka in 2001.
