IPL will add to burden on players: Pak trainer

Karachi (PTI): The Indian Premier League (IPL) may be a lucrative proposition but Pakistan cricket team's trainer David Dwyer feels the cash-rich twenty20 league will add to the players' burden in a "ridiculously crowded" international calender.

"I think there is far too much cricket and the schedules they keep up are. I think it is a lot on the players for them to be able to play, pack up and travel the next day and than play again," Dwyer said in an interview from Lahore.

Dwyer, originally a Rugby trainer from Australia, said the IPL would crowd an already hectic calendar and make life harder for the players.
