    Karunanidhi congratulates Anand

    Chennai (PTI): Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M Karunanidhi on Thursday congratulated Viswanathan Anand for winning his third World Chess Championship title in Germany.

    An official release quoted the Chief Minister as saying that Anand has brought laurels to India and Tamil Nadu, his native state, and recalled the two earlier instances in Iran in 2000 and Mexico in 2007 where he had won the titles.
