    PM: Anand has done country proud

    New Delhi (PTI): Prime Minister Manmohan Singh on Thursday congratulated Viswanathan Anand for winning the World Chess Championship, saying that he has done the country proud.

    In his message, the Prime Minister said Anand has done the country proud with his exemplary performance at the highest level in his discipline.

    "He has set a stellar example with his dedication and consistency to all sportspersons in the country," Singh added.
