'Chak De' tax free in Bihar

Patna, Aug. 31 (PTI): Bihar government has decided to make Bollywood film 'Chak De India' tax free in the state.

"We have decided to waive the entertainment tax on 'Chak De India'", Chief Minister Nitish Kumar said on Thursday.

"I have heard that this film has become very popular and everybody is talking about it," he said.

The Shimit Amin-directed film tells the story of a coach's fight to make his hockey team, Team India, the best in the world.

Shah Rukh Khan plays the hockey coach who was disgraced when he was removed as a player in his heydays. Seven years later he returns to coach a rag-tag bunch of girls in a hockey team.

Deputy chief minister Sushil Kumar Modi said girl students in particular should watch the movie.
