Kamal fans to donate blood on his birthday

CHENNAI: Kamal Haasan Narpani Iyakkam, the coordinating body of the star's fan clubs, will celebrate his birthday on November 7 with a massive blood donation campaign.
A press release from the Iyakkam said that around 500 fans from each district, totalling about 15,000 all over Tamil Nadu will donate blood in their respective district Government hospitals.
It has also been decided to announce November as `Life Saving Month' by organising blood donations camps, the release added. Kamal Haasan has been closely involved in health-related activities including altruistic organ donation for many years.
