Not moving closer to Congress: Shatrughan Sinha

Mumbai (PTI): Noted actor and former minister in NDA government Shatrughan Sinha on Monday rejected suggestions that he was moving closer to Congress.

Sinha, who was not renominated to the Rajya Sabha by the BJP, told reporters here at the launch of 'Bhojpuri city', a film trade magazine dedicated to Bhojpuri cinema, that he does not believe in 'political untouchability'.

"I have friends in all political parties and do not consider political opponents as enemies. I have always practised issue-based politics," he said and added that such speculation was spread by the media.

"I have not made such comments and not even hinted at such a possibility," he said.

"Even Advaniji visited Sonia Gandhi recently," he pointed out.
