London (IANS): Beatles legend Paul McCartney has signed up for doing a voice-over role in the upcoming movie Shrek 4.

According to thesun.co.uk, McCartney now joins other celebrities like Cameron Diaz and Antonio Banderas.

An informed source said: "The Shrek films have a proud tradition of getting great names and Macca (McCartney) is the best yet."

The Beatles star is trying hard to move on from a messy divorce from Heather Mills.
