Mumbai :(PTI) International singers Bon Jovi and Roger Waters will be among global superstars who join Bollywood stars led by Amitabh Bachchan to perform at the 'Live Earth India' concert here on December seven.

Abhishek and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Hrithik Roshan, Preity Zinta, Bipasha Basu, Farhan Akhtar, Vishal and Shekhar, Shankar-Ehsan-Loy, Sonu Nigam and Shaan and Shiamak Davar will perform at the concert to be held at the Andheri sports complex to create awareness about environment and climate change.

Produced globally by Control Room and in partnership with local promoter and producer Wizcraft International Entertainment, the concert will feature never-seen before collaborations of western and Indian artists, a variety of musical genres from Indian hip-hop to American rock, Wizcraft director Sabbas Joseph said here today.

Live Earth India will highlight personal and policy solutions to climate crisis, offer support for India's important environmental issues and causes and provide a platform for India to solidify its leadership role on climate issues, he said.

The show will be telecast on Star Plus, Channel V and Star World while online audiences will view it via MSN broadcast, he added.

Sabbas said the concert was a large scale production and a blend of the East and the West. Rehearsals have already begun for it, he added. Proceeds of the concert will go to Dr R K Pauchari's 'Light a billion lives' campaign.

The concert will be a general entertainment programme interspersed with appearances and messages from former US vice president Al Gore, Dr Rajendra K Pachauri, director general of
