For Mugdha Godse sky is the limit

Macau (PTI): Mugdha Godse may have started her Bollywood career with a small role in 'Fashion' but the ambitious beauty hopes to strike gold with her first lead role in Madhur Bhandarkar's gritty drama 'Jail'.

The model turned actress who went from fashionista to girl next door for her role in the upcoming film, said that her short role in the debut film earned her plenty of audience appreciation and she hopes to ride on her popularity with her second film.

"Fashion has already been a turning point in my career and my journey has just started in the industry. The way people were chanting my name last night has confirmed my believe that it is the the strength of the role that matters not the length. Sky is the limit for me now," Mugdha told PTI in an interview.

The actress who is paired opposite Neil Nitin Mukesh in the film said that the role was very close to her heart.

"It is a whole new experience. People have this thought that being a model I have to be ultra glam but I think Madhur is going to change that," said the actress.

The former model says that becoming an actress was the best thing that happened to her as it gives her a channel to reach out to people.

"I feel I have finally found a mode to express myself and reach out to people. That is the best part of being an actor and I love every aspect of it," she added.
