I'm not taking over Jolie's 'Tomb Raider' role: Megan Fox

Los Angeles (IANS): Model-turned-actor Megan Fox has shot down rumours that she is set to replace Angelina Jolie in the next “Tomb Raider” movie.

Producer Dan Lin had recently announced Jolie would not be reprising her action role for the next instalment of the action film because the film bosses wanted to cast a younger actress, Contactmusic.com reports.

After his statement, Ms. Fox was linked to the role, but she has rubbished the report saying she won't be stepping into Jolie's shoes.

"I haven't been offered that. No one has even spoken to me about doing that yet. I think that's a role that Angelina Jolie mastered, and I would never attempt to take that over from her," said Ms. Fox.
