    Almonds are good for you

Almonds (about a dozen) can help you get over a headache, according to modern research.

This is because almond contains salicin, a vital element in aspirin.

Traditional medicine prescribes almonds for headaches. Besides, nuts provide heart-friendly fat, protein, fibre, vitamin E, potassium, folate, magnesium, zinc, selenium, copper, phosphorous, phytosterols, and arginine.

But, eating too much could lead to an increase in body fat. Those who train hard can eat an ounce a day (24 almonds).
