Kashmir serial

HE is called the "mountain man". Once more Serbjeet Singh and his son Karamjeet have teamed together to make a 12-part serial for television tracing the genesis of militancy in the Kashmir valley. For Singh it is something that he has done before when he filmed the historic battle of Zoji La that finally led to the liberation of Ladakh. But he is best remembered for his paintings on the Himalayas. Singh decided to look at historical footage in various archives before filming the Kashmir serial. After two years of intensive research he came up with the serial which is due to be telecast soon. Singh is all praise for the help the Army had extended him.
