Lladro talk

David Lladro

TO him these are not just little porcelain figurines. They are sculptures and if David Lladro is to be believed then his company, "Creates sculptures with soul that celebrate life". For Lladro, opening a museum and gallery in the capital in India means more than just good business. "Indians and Spanish are very alike," said he. "They are both passionate people who love to enjoy life but are touched by spirituality." With a presence already in 123 countries, Lladro is a household word for the rich and famous. For David Lladro that is not enough and he hopes to be able to achieve a global presence in the coming years. "I am not being arrogant but I intend to make the brand absolutely international in coming years," said he.
