VIR DAS is back on popular demand in the theatre circuit with his cutting edge wit and suave style. His hilarious stand up comedy titled "Bored of The Things" will wow the audience at the Stein Auditorium, Habitat World, India Habitat Centre on April 20 at 8.pm.

GALLERY SANSKRITI presents "Desire"- an exhibition of recent works by Shipra Bhattacharya. The artist will present oil on canvas, and oil and acrylic on canvas and wood. The show will be on from April 18-24 at the Visual Arts Gallery, India Habitat Centre.


THE Vyakt Art Gallery is the chosen venue, showcasing the works of 25 eminent artists representing various art expressions and styles from all over India. Some of the prominent names featuring in this ongoing exhibition are that of Bhupen Khakhar, Amitava Das, Jitish Kallat, Yusuf Arakkal, Laxma Goud, Anupam Sud, Bulbul Sharma, Hemi Bawa and Gopi Gajwani. Most of the works exhibited are done recently. It's worth a dekko.

FOR lovers of French classics, a Woody Allenesque comedy, "Portraits Chinois" will be screened at 11.30 a.m. at the Alliance Francaise de Delhi on April 25. This is about a group of friends and their romantic hang-ups, their lives, loves and deceptions, triumphs and tragedies that climax to surprising finale.


IN today's concrete world and the vanishing greenery, it is essential to create an awareness to preserve wildlife. A step towards this has been initiated by the Wildlife Workshop/ Sanctuary Asia by bringing forth Kids for Tigers, an awareness workshop with speakers like Bittu Sahgal, Bikram Grewal and Nikhil Devasar. The two-day workshop will be conducted on April 20-21 at the Habitat World, IHC at 10 a.m. to 1.30 p.m.

THE Open Palm Court at the India Habitat Centre will witness a commendable venture of budding artists titled "Historical Monuments of Delhi and Landscapes" in pen and ink, watercolour and pastels. The participating artists are Soumen Datta, Aman Chhabra, Harshit Dayal Mathur and Rashi Chopra. The show is on from April 21 - 24.
