INVERTED umbrellas, gumboots on the porch filling with water and a lonely glass holding on to jewel-like drops of rain. These are few of the images that flash through an unusual documentary on rainwater harvesting. Interestingly the documentary has no name. "We just called it a film on rain water harvesting," said actor Nandita Das , who conceived the idea for the film with her adman husband. Das said this was her first venture at direction .'"To come up with a short crisp and relevant message in such a short time is really a challenge," she said. The film which is part of a public awareness campaign launched by the Centre for Science and Environment was shot in 10 days and Das hopes that it will be shown in theatres and on television too.
