Ekta power

R.V. MOORTHY

SHE'S a one-woman show that manages to give TRPs a triple boost. Not for nothing is EKTA KAPOOR called the sultana of television. Her soap operas have managed to straddle the universe between the "mummyjis" and the sweet-somethings who join the Indian family and then become ingrained into the art of the melodramatic. Kapoor, who has an astute business sense, has taken her talents a step further and is touring cities round the country looking for fresh talent. And no she is not looking for glamour." It's simplicity that works not drop dead beautiful" shrugged Kapoor.
