AT most book launches the author should have some presence at least. But when you've got a string of celebrities out to endorse the product, very often the product is given the go by. Just as it did in the case of writer SAAD BIN JUNG, whose uncle Shahryar Khan, with Mansur Ali Khan, Sharmila Tagore and a string of other celebrities took centre stage. In fact it was the chairman of the Pakistan Cricket Board, Shahryar Khan and Pataudi who seemed to be lapping up the media attention. As for the author, clearly he was eclipsed and seemed content to let on that he'd "been fascinated by wild life for a long time".
