Beri is back

IF you thought marriage meant a temporary hibernation from work for designer diva RITU BERI, think again. Her latest show proved that Beri was not willing to take a break.

Called "Prayer", the show was held on her private lawns and, according to Beri, "reflected" her current state of mind.

Which is? "Contentment. An expression of my inner emotions." And if the sub texts of the event were anything to go by then certainly marriage has more than suited Beri. Called "Joy", "Beauty" and, of course, "Love", it gave viewers an idea of what the designer was thinking through her creations.

Hubby Bedi was happy to let his wife soak up the sunshine. "I'm so proud of her," he beamed.

And what next? "A book, a chain of retail stores maybe at a later stage and then, of course, my favourite — the Paris Week," said Beri.

Whoever said marriage was a limiting factor?
