Saroj before the camera

SHE'S spent the greater part of her life directing the many jhatkas and matkas that Hindi films are so famous for.

But now dance director SAROJ KHAN is all set to dance to a different tune with her portrayal of a don in Naseerudin Shah's film. While she is not given to nerves, Khan agreed that facing the camera could be a discerning moment for her.

"I am still coming to terms with the idea and have told Naseer bhai that if he feels I'm not doing a good job then he should sack me. I am just not prepared to take bad reviews," she said.

Though this will not be her first time before the camera, Khan said that earlier roles were literally tiny ones. "This is different and is a big challenge for me. I couldn't say no to Naseer bhai so... " Who knows Khan may eventually discover a new avatar to her personality.
