Manjari has keen interest in drama as well. Since 1991, she has been winning prizes at school-level competitions.

Manjari was adjudged the Interschool Kalathilakom, and has won the `Kerala Ratnam' award in 1999-2000 from the Malayalam wing of the Indian Social Club, Muscat.

Her debut album was `Ennum Ee Ponnonam', with K. J. Jesudas.

"Das uncle advised me to work hard. Studio recording was not very difficult for me. I recorded the song under the direct supervision of Das uncle. It was a nice experience," she says.
