Vishnuvardhan vetoes `Veera'

THE VISHNUVARDHAN-STARRER `Veera', production of which was started a day before the advent of the inauspicious Ashada month, is likely to go into cold storage for some time. It appears that the screenplay is weak and superstar Vishnuvardhan has apparently advised the director and producer of the film to strengthen it.

After the success of `Yajamana', which was followed by a series of hits, Vishnuvardhan is apparently taking extra care over storylines.

He is supposed to have given the nod to `Veera' because of his equations with producer Medikonda Muralikrishna.

With the first schedule of shooting over, Vishnuvardhan is believed to have cried a halt, because of a weak screenplay.

Director Mutyala Subbaiah, and producer Muralikrishna, have packed their bags and left for Andhra Pradesh to take the necessary steps.

Seems like Vishnuvardhan is only too aware that strong stories make successful films!
