WORKING LUNCHES are the norm today. A few bites that you nibble in a jiffy before you get back to the desk or a wholesome lunch that does not make you crave for a longer siesta break is, perhaps, the answer to keep the grey cells going till 5 and beyond, and take care of those long working hours.
The Host, a vegetarian multi-cuisine restaurant (Opposite Food World, P.G. Road, Tel: 55336251), has lined up an executive lunch (12 noon-3 p.m., Rs. 75 plus taxes) — soup, salad, curries — preparations in vegetables, paneer and dals, served with biryani and butter naan, and topped with an ice cream for a dessert. The place also provides mini lunch parcel, pre-plated meal priced at Rs. 40, offering a free delivery within the radius of two kilometres, for an order of four meal parcels and above.
This apart, the restaurant also has a Sunday buffet dinner (7.30 p.m.-11 p.m.), an occasion to dine out with the family.
With Crisp Vegetables for starters, followed by an option from Hot `n' Sour or Tomato Soup, rotis — Masala Kulcha and Missi Roti and rice — biryani and plain, vegetarian curries and, finally, fruit salad and ice cream for dessert, the platter looks rather filling, priced at Rs. 85 plus taxes.
