From the indispensable Harry Potter to the much-awaited memoirs of Hillary Rodham Clinton, the store has a comprehensive collection of bestsellers, business guides, fictions, biographies and coffee table books, apart from magazines, stationery and CDs.
"The store has been positioned as a friendly neighbourhood shop where local residents can drop in and browse through their favourite authors and also grab a bite at the restaurant while they are at it," says K.C. Tharyan, Executive Director, Residency Group of Hotels.
The books have been selected keeping in mind the limitation of space and the category of clients. "The store has the best of everything," says Hemu Ramaiah, Partner, Landmark. "Moreover being a business class hotel, we have given importance to books relating to management apart from offering music and games for families and kids," she says. And there is no need to be disappointed even if the visitors do not find the book or CD they are looking for, the store will procure it for them from their outlets in Nungambakkam or Spencer's Plaza. The fact that the shop is open from 8 a.m. to 10.30 p.m. also makes it an attractive option for the visitors.
