Tanishq rolls a festive plan for the auspicious Varalakshmi Vratam period. The offer is on till August 22.

GIFTING THE idol of Goddess Lakshmi is considered auspicious, bringing prosperity and goodwill to the receiver. The month-long Varalakshmi Vratam period finds women purchasing gold for the Lakshmi puja performed every Friday, especially the second Friday when the family members gather to invoke the goddess' blessings. Know more from the elders who will be available at the store for the first week of the period starting July 30, about the rituals and customs associated with the Varalakshmi puja. Also, consumers get to take home a free Varalakshmi cassette on the purchases made here, and a Lakshmi idol in silver on purchase of jewellery worth Rs. 5,000. Choose from the gold jewellery in 22 karats priced Rs. 600 onwards, diamond studded jewellery and excusive high-end sets. Offers such as the exchange of jewellery and `Golden Harvest' - the savings scheme, are also available at the Tanishq outlet for the consumer.
