Brand Equity

FASHION FRATERNITY descended in full strength on New Delhi recently during Lycra Images Fashion Awards ceremony. Using the Direct Mailer Tool, Images Research Cell used its four national publications to capture the brand and store preferences of some of the frequent Indian fashion shoppers. For an external crosscheck, Ernst and Young, leading global business advisory, rechecked every response and analysis and also verified responses with random samples.

On the basis of this survey, while Arrow was awarded as the most admired shirt brand of the year, Allen Solly bagged the award for the most admired trouser brand of the year. Park Avenue was voted as the most admired suit trademark and Levi's won the consumers' mandate as the best jeans brand. Titan grabbed the top spot in the time wear brand and Bata triumphed consumers' admiration in the footwear category.

Kishore Biyani, Managing Director, Pantaloon India Limited and M.Y. Noorani, founder Chairman, Zodiac were awarded visionary of the year and lifetime achievement awards respectively.

Besides the glitter, Images Fashion Forum provided the industry's captains the platform to deliberate on issues plaguing the industry and measures to resolve them.
