SUMMER'S HERE and it is time to shove the polyesters to the back of the wardrobe. If you think cotton's jaded check out the casuals the newly-opened store, Casuals, at Overbridge, near the SMV Government Boy's High School. The spotlight at Casuals is on men's wear.
The range comprises trendy summer wear- plain white and black `limozine' shirt.
Shirts by brands such as Abstract, Air walk are also available at the store. The loose weaves and light cotton are just right to beat the heat.
"For summer our focuss is on colours that range from light hues to dark ones. We also have a collection of striped shirts in 15 combinations," says Nishad Rasheed of Casuals.
The garments are brought in from Bangalore and include hipster shirts, track pants, T-shirts, drawstring pants and jeans.
The T-shirts are priced between Rs. 280 and Rs. 400, while the shirts and drawstring pants come with a price tag of Rs. 350 - Rs. 500.
A lot of teenagers have dropped in to check out the shirts, since the outlet opened last month, says salesman Sumith Rasheed. The garments are priced at an affordable range here.
