Home textiles for summer
SPACES HAS unveiled its Spring Summer 2004 Collection in its home textile category. With a stress on seasonal changes in design, Spaces hopes to offer variety to the Indian consumer. "Though Western mindset is attuned to seasonal changes in home textile category, in India, design changes are limited to apparel sector," says Deepali Goenka, Director, Wellspun Group, which promotes Space.
In keeping with the summer mood, the home textiles in the new range come in vibrant blue, green, and yellow.
Using elements such as flowers (Organics range), the sea (Seascape range), and geometric patterns (Structure range), the collection promises to "bring in the warmth and fun of spring".
Spaces has also unveiled a kitchen range, keeping the same mood of summer as the theme. Spaces has also launched a children's collection called Cuddles, crafted from cotton. It has linen, quits, towels, and bathrobes in four themes — Best Friends, Jungle Story, Gold Fish, and Road Race.
