IF DECKING up your home with beautiful pieces of sculpture, which are traditional in concept but modern in appearance, is your idea of a facelift, then check out the new collection unveiled by Lladro India.
The first `Introduction Line for 2004' will now be showcased at all the Lladro boutiques and museums across the country. Unveiled at the Ambiente Trade Show in Frankfurt in February, , this is the first of the two annual introductions of Lladro's new sculptures.
Rounded yet delicate forms, Gres sculptures with their surprising colouring are a major attraction at Lladro showrooms. Now, 50-plus new works are added to the Lladro catalogues with completely new creations alongside new interpretations of perennial themes.
Under the concept Life Deco, Lladro, which believes that sculptures are not mere dιcor objects randomly arranged, presented its most innovative collections in Frankfurt.
Lladro sculptures form part of an intimate universe full of meaning.
This is particularly true of the `Humanitas' collection - a series of eight sculptures, a representation of man's proximity to his surroundings. The `Home Fragrances' is a collection of seven exclusive perfumed candles with scents of fresh flowers, the sea, family days.
For exclusive pieces, which can be ideal gifts or decorative items, check out the showroom.
