Everyone loves a good scare
For anyone who watched Hitchcock's Psycho, taking a shower has never been the same. You never know what danger (read bloody knife) lurks behind the plastic curtains. The ear-shattering scream in the film became so notorious that there are stil l contests for the most ear-splitting "shower shriek"! The Exorcist, The Ring, The Sixth Sense, Damien, Evil Dead, Poltergeist and our very own Bhooth, Kaun, Bees Saal Baad — each one has sent chills down spines and caused sleeple ss nights. Every moving shadow (imagined or otherwise) becomes a cause to let out a blood-curdling scream. Still, horror movie buffs can't get enough of the addictive queasiness and terror on seeing spirits, demons and crazed nuts on killing sprees.
