Children's books aplenty
THE YASH Birla Group in association with the U.S.-based Gareth Steven Publishing, is launching Shloka Publications.
The new publishing house will bring top-of-the-line educational reference books and materials for children. The six Shloka Education Series will comprise 24 titles.
Smart Start, a series for children aged three and above, will consist of `I Can Draw' books, besides those on the alphabet, colours and opposites. The other series are "101 Facts About The World," "The Solar System" by Issac Asimov, "Life Around The World" and "International Organisation."
The last mentioned has four titles — Interpol, UNICEF, Red Cross and WHO, and is said to be the first of its kind in India.
The books will be available in leading bookstores.
