TAJ RESIDENCY'S rendition of the brunch on Sunday is more than just plain food. It's a fun-soaked experience that comprises Croquet and tennis, a splash by the cool pool and live music. The offer is on from 11.30 a.m. on Sunday's. Begin with splash - by playing water yo-yo on a Sunday.
If you don't know the strokes right, there's tennis. Children can meanwhile, have a ball with Croquet - an English game, known as golf's `poor cousin'.
Conversely, stroll the lawns, pick up a beer - if you like, or swing a leg over a peg at the lawns with a musician playing in the background. Else, just lie down with your favourite book and a glass of sugarcane juice.
Once the appetite is whetted, dive right in into the sea of food, mostly prepared in live counters. The Amazonian spread is best enjoyed when one sprinkles the brunch with another game of tennis or a quiet walk by the garden in between mouthfuls. It helps in digestion.
At Rs. 450, such pleasures are more than one can ask for on a holiday.
