Winter hues

THE CLAIM is, your search for new looks is over with Schwarzkopf latest edition of `Essential Looks' and `Igora Style Collection', the company's global trend guide in hairstyling, "evaluated in a completely Indian context."

Schwarzkopf hair stylist Andrew Jose says, "It is very interesting for me to try these colours and hair styles on Indian hair." This `Essential Looks' provide stylists with a detailed hair fashion guide for this winter. The trend that is tapping into the 1950's retro sub-culture is currently going supernova, a celebration of colours (through the Igora Style Collection) as much as the cut.

The trends launched for this winter are Boho where the colours used are coppers, reds and auburn-golds, dark glam used with violets and auburn-reds, Prim-a trend that's influenced by fashion visionary Miuccia Prada used subtle shades of gold and beige, action paint red and orange and blue. For men, `the zoot' look is perfect for this season with shades of `ash' while action paint provides the contrast with red, blue and orange. "You can't go short on the length in India, Igora Style Collection colours are used to highlight and celebrate the trends," says Andrew.

Shekhar Sethu, General Manager, Schwarzkopf, says, "Boho, dark glam and prim are definitely the trends of this season with coppers, reds, auburn golds and violets being the colour of the season. To add more excitement to winters, we have the newly launched action paint to give a choice to customers."
