Food, fun and funds
THE CONSORTIUM of Professionals for Christ, an organisation committed to helping the underprivileged in the country, is organising "Chris Time — A Christmas Entertainment Mix" on December 4 on the premises of The Apostolic Fellowship Tabernacle, 47, Vadamalai Street, Purasawalkam.
The music programme will feature Pastor Sam Chelladurai, Pastor Chadwick Samuel and his troupe, Sujan and the Honky Cats and Children from Family Services.
The programme will be preceded by a Christmas Carnival where a whole lot of games, fast food, bakes, candies, clothes, cassettes, CDs, gifts and prizes await the young and the old alike. Besides Santa who will give away gifts to children, there will be Mickey and Donald to entertain kids.

Charity fair
THE CHRISTMAS Fair Association is organising a "Christmas Fair" at the Madras Seva Sadan, Chetput, on December 4, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. The fair is organised every year to help charity organisations and the proceeds will go to Mercy Home, Little Sisters of the Poor, Little Flower Convent, Shanti Bhawan and Salvation Army. On display will be Christmas decorations, toys, games and food items.
