Designer wear for girls
Pretty prints and delicate embroidery mark the Miniwear collection
IF YOU feel there's not much variety when it comes to buying clothes for your little angels, then head to the Vimonisha Gallery on Khader Nawaz Khan Road, Nungambakkam, where Miniwear is launching its first line of designer wear for girls at an exhibition which opens on December 10, 10 a.m.
The collection is split into three categories — an infant line (6-36 months), one for those in the age group 3-8 and the third one for those aged between 9 and 14.
A wonderful selection of fabrics has been used — cotton, georgette, satin, velvet, organza and net. Pretty florals and bright prints are pleasing to the eye. Laces with fancy trims and delicate embroidery have been used to good effect. If some are apt for special occasions with their dressy look, there are frocks that make good casual wear.
Also on display are educational toys, books and stationery items for kids.
The exhibition concludes on December 12, 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.
