Cool as you sizzle

WITH SUMMER round the corner, CTC Mall offers a glimpse of Indian ensembles and bridal wear to suit the heat.

Says Manish Chabbra, Managing Director and designer, CTC Mall, "For the season we have launched the Indo Western collection with a lot of cotton. One can find lots of cotton skirts, linen skirts, spaghetti, corsets in lace, etc. There are embroidered blouses with sequins, crystals and thread work."

Starting the range from Rs.4000 the collection has an exquisite range of chiffon with floral designs and pastel tones. There are also bridal lehangas, saris and salwar kurtas, etc. on offer. "The embroidery on chiffon is similar to Parsi kara work. Then there is lot of sequin work in geometric contours on saris and lehangas," says Manish. "I have experimented with colours this season. Pastel shades like peaches and creams are accompanied by darker tones like reds and oranges. One can also find combinations like orange with pink, lime yellow with green and of course black which attracts the eye."

Having tied up with designers like Sumit Verma, Krishna Mehta and others, Manish is looking forward to giving fashion freaks a reason to celebrate.
