For the love of art


Art lovers of the city will be treated to the works of renowned artists at `Summer 2005', a seven-day art exhibition organised by the Kasthuri Sreenivasan Culture Centre, beginning on May 6 at its art gallery on Avanashi Road.

The exhibition will be open from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Three well-known artists, V S D Arulsrasan, Sivaramakrishnan P and Ravi B R, all faculty members of the Government College of Fine Arts, Kumbakonam, will display their paintings and metal reliefs at the exhibition titled `Divine'.

All exhibits are up for sale.

Art and craft camp

Kala Mandir, an institute imparting fine art education, is organising a 15-day summer art and craft camp for children and adults.

Special concessions are being offered to less privileged children.
