Discover the world through a new television series

THIRTEEN WONDERS Guide for the impassioned travel set

Inspired by Patricia Schultz’s best-selling travel book of the same name, “1000 Places To See Before You Die” will be aired by Discovery Travel and Living as an inspirational guide for the impassioned travel set.

“1000 Places To See Before You Die” will take viewers to thirteen amazing locations around the world – Peru, Alaska, Vancouver, Mexico, Brazil, South Africa, France, Italy, India, Nepal, Cambodia, Australia and Hawaii. In each one-hour episode, viewers will watch sacred ruins, grand hotels, wildlife preserves, hilltop villages, snack shacks, castles, festivals, restaurants, cathedrals, hidden islands, opera houses, museums and more.

Visiting well-known tourist sites like the mysterious Machu Picchu in Peru, climbing the Eiffel Tower, touring the Taj Mahal at sunset, viewing Venice from the canals, visiting Robben Island in South Africa and travelling the Alaskan railroad will be some of the highlights.

There will be an episode dedicated to India where show hosts Melani and Albin will not only see a variety of locations but also experience the true spirit of the nation.

From exploring astonishing landmarks such as the Taj Mahal, Humayun’s Tomb and Bahai Temple to taking a rickshaw ride through Delhi’s bustling streets and getting henna tattoos, the episode which will absorb the country’s rich diversity will be aired on November 16 at 8 p.m.

“1000 Places to See Before You Die” will be aired every Friday at 8 p.m. all through November and December.
