Enchanting melodies

The audio release of "Alibaba" was held recently

ON A MUSICAL NOTE At the launch

The audio release of Talking Times Movies Private Limited's "Alibaba" was held at Satyam Cinemas. The film is produced by "Pattiyal" Sekhar and Sanjeev Kapoor. Directed by Neelan K. Sekar it has the new find Krishna in the title role. He is the son of "Pattiyal" Sekhar. Vidhyasagar has scored the music and two songs and the trailer of the film were shown to the invitees.

There are five songs in the film and best one is `Nenjil Athadi' sung by Vidhyasagar and Saway and written by Jeyantha. It sounds like an item number and is catchy except for the end which resembles music from the film "Guru". Another song `Krishna Krishna' sung by Saway and Ranjith and written by Pa.Vijay is a good melody. Jeyantha's lyric with the voice of Ranjtih and Sujatha Mohan form a nice duet with a mesmerising tune. There is also a kutthu pattu `Hare Hare Sambo' sung by Jasey Gift and written by Pa.Vijay. It has a foot tapping melody. The last song one is `Neenda Mounam' written by Ugabharathi and sung by Karthik and Rajeswari.

S.R. ASHOK KUMAR
