Lord of the stage



Middle Earth revisited Gandalf and Frodo walk the stage

First were the books. Then came the movies and now it is hitting the stage. Hold on tight as “The Lord of the Rings” phenomenon takes the world by storm again as the theatrical version of the best-selling novels and blockbuster film is po ised to hit the London stage. All the denizens of J. R. R. Tolkien’s Middle Earth from the wise Gandalf to the rough and ready dwarf Gimli, from the poor, conflicted Gollum to the brave ring bearer Frodo, watch them all come alive on stage.

“Inside” goes deep into London’s Theatre Royal to find out how technology, engineering and art come together to create this epic production. Watch Nat Geo Reveals, “Inside – Lord of the Rings on Stage” at 9 p.m. on Wednesday. Thousands travel every year to Jerusalem to visit places where Jesus walked, preached and was crucified. Since his death, the city has been destroyed and rebuilt more than 20 times. The History Channel follows the evidence to reveal the city that Jesus would have visited.
