Musings on dialoguing in South Asia If South Asia can move from a politics of military brinkmanship to one based on a culture of dialogue for airing differences, it will open up a new chapter in the history of the region. What we need is a kind of reflexive dialogue in which both India and Pakistan learn to examine their own reactions, one in which they will move from blaming each other to recognition of mutual responsibility for all that has happened.
