My most memorable years
I joined Abacus in Std. IV. I was a shy, quiet and emotional girl. I loved that class especially individual activity where we made lime juice, did carrot cutting and made sandalwood paste.
I didn't have many friends at that time as we were still in mixed environments in Std. II, III and IV. I was a part of the environment club, where we went for nature trails and even did a project on conservation of water.
In Std. V there was this major rivalry between the boys and girls of our class, this actually continued till Std. VII. The teachers tried their best to get its to stop fighting.
There was physical war between all of us. I guess this ended because we all grew out of it, not that we don't fight anymore.
My best year was the Std. VIII where we went for our first class excursion for three days to Vellore, Kavalur and Yelagiri. It was totally amazing in the cool weather all 23 of us packed in a van.
Our van broke down twice and to make the trip exciting we were divided into groups and were given cash and were asked to use public transport and come to Yelagiri.
Well, that year ended real fast and now I'm here in Std. IX slogging hard all day getting preparing for the boards that I'm going to write next year. We must agree time flies very fast. It just seemed that yesterday I joined this school.
But now, in reality I just have a year left. It will be extremely hard for me to leave my friends, and this pleasant school, which I love coming to everyday.
