Tree talk

I was born in a garden as a seed of a mango tree. I was put in the soil by the gardener of a rich man. He was very fond of trees. The gardener used to water me every day. I started growing. Soon green leaves covered me.

The gardener used to take care of me in my childhood. He fed me with the best quality manure. He brought me up like a son. When I became a tree I started bearing fruit, I was tall, well built and full of leaves. Children of my owner started playing under me in the summer vacations. They used to play and jump on my branches. I was so charming and fragrant that birds, animal and men were attracted towards me.

My guardian, the poor gardener had to be very vigilant to protect my freshness. I was pleased when I found birds chirping on my branches, animals resting under my shady branches and naughty boy pulling me. I love children very much. I wish these kids should grow young and intelligent. I hope those good days will come soon. I shall be again a centre of attraction.
