Experience at Kedarnath

Situated in the Himadri range, Kedarnath is a beautiful place. It is a 14-hour journey from Joshimath. One has to travel by pony.

On the one side are snow-clad mountains and on the other is the fast-flowing Alaknanda. Kedarnath is one of the many sacred shrines of the Hindus. The lord of Kedarnath is Shiva.

Thousands of pilgrims visit the shrine in the summer as the temple is open only for those six months. In the winter, the temple is bound by snow.
