The world today

Here today and gone tomorrow
This can be said for this world of sorrow
The end of the world is high,
Says the sea, says the sky
Who is responsible you may ask
It's man who ought to be taken to task
Calling himself the son of the earth
He is the one who is killing his mother
Hatred and strife everywhere,
The world has forgotten how to share
The fear of war everywhere
Leads to tears and despair
The so-called nuclear race,
Is leading the world to destruction
It won't take time for God to say
Man is unworthy of ruling the earth anyway
We are just waiting for the date
When the earth will meet its ultimate faith
