To abide by the Constitution and respect its ideals and institution, and to cherish and follow the noble ideals which inspired our national struggle for freedom is the duty of every citizen.
Being a student, it is an important duty to defend the country and render national service when called upon to do so and to promote the spirit of common brotherhood and then to safeguard public property and improve the national environment.
We have to strive towards excellence in all spheres of individual and collective activity, so that the nation constantly rises to higher levels of endeavour and achievement.
Follow Gandhi's prescription so that our future will be bright, and we can uplift our country against other forces.
