Tennis is the oldest racket sports. A tennis court in 23.8m long. The tennis ball is made of rubber and covered with wool. The rackets are made from materials like aluminium, fiber-glass, carbon, graphite and titanium.

Tennis can be played on grass courts, clay courts and all season courts. Tennis clothes must be light and comfortable. Different tennis shoes are designed for different courts.

Tennis can be played as singles or doubles. The object is to have control of the ball and hit it and make sure it bounces inside the court. If the ball goes outside the tennis court's boundary your opponent gets the points. The player who gets 6 points is the winner of the game set.
