A promise

Once the thunder, I heard
Where the sun would disappear
Oh! Sun followed rain
To be started flow on plain
Such, such were the joys
More than when I played with toys
And then I went to dance and play
And don't, soon, they all say.
Frogs had a nice chance
And they were all involved in a dance.
It came alone for hours
And dropped on all the flowers
When the clouds hid the sun's head
Like the veil covering the bride
The birds went home to bed.
All in the house with lamps
And the drops filled the dams,
And sport no more seen
On the darkening green,
It gave a lot of gain
And it will surely come again.
