Programme covering 28 courses spread across four semesters will cost a total of Rs. 2.6 lakh

Le Magnus School of Management (LMSM) is a fresh entrant in the crowded market space of MBA colleges in the city.

But Sudhakar Rao, director Le Magnus said, in a press conference here on Friday, that the LMSM is the only independent business school in the city with an approval from All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) to conduct a two year full-time Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) programme.

Affiliated to ICFAI, this New Bowenpally based institution is inviting applications from the students who have attained a minimum of 50 percent in graduation.

The programme covering 28 courses spread across four semesters will cost a total of Rs. 2.6 lakh.

One hundred and twenty students will be selected from among the applicants based on merit and interview. Students can pursue elective courses in Marketing, Finance, Human Resource Management and IT and Systems.

Mr. Sudhakar Rao said that the key aspect of this programme is the project work taken up by the students.

He said that sufficient care is being taken by the faculty to ensure that students take up projects which are relevant to the industry.

The four week organisational project, under which a student will have to work in an organisation, after first term and summer internship after the second term also enhance the course, he said.

Last date for submission of the application form is August 16 and classes start from August 30.
