Mannequin man

Scientists in Hong Kong have created a mannequin named "Walter" to help clothes designers develop comfortable military clothing, sportswear and spacesuits. So what, you may ask. Jintu Fan, one of the model's creators, has this to say. "The mannequin is so lifelike that it sweats when it gets too hot under the collar." Filled with pipes containing heated water, Walter has a "body" temperature of 37º Celsius, three layers of custom-built "skin" and motorised limbs.
